In response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak — which has now been officially categorized as a global pandemic — CORE is taking a variety of steps to protect the health and safety of our 4,600+ members and other stakeholders, including:

 

      All in-person CORE professional development offerings have been suspended until further notice. All class registrants will be contacted individually, and full refunds will be provided. In the meantime, members should be aware of the option to take CE classes online via The CE Shop, a nationwide real estate continuing education provider, with which CORE has a partnership. Visit the CE Shop on our website under Realtor Resources/Education to search and register for classes.

 

      CORE’s Circle of Excellence Awards and Recognition Breakfast, which had been scheduled for April 1 at The Palace in Somerset, has been postponed until later in the year. Once a new date is selected, all members will be notified. The Palace has graciously worked with us on this postponement, and we plan to hold the event at The Palace later in the year.

 

     At this time, we plan to immediately refund all paid Circle Breakfast registrations, via the credit card used to purchase the tickets.

  

     All sponsorships will remain intact for the Circle Breakfast when it’s held later this year. However, any sponsor who wishes may request an immediate refund by sending an email to the CORE Director of Education & Events, Craig Pantellere at craig@core-realtors.com.

 

     All in-person CORE committee meetings have been suspended until further notice and will be held remotely via audio or video conference, if possible, at the discretion of the Chair. In some cases, meetings may need to be rescheduled for a later date.

 

CORE will continue to monitor the situation and report any vital information as it relates to the operation of our offices.

 

Finally, the National Association of Realtors has released the guidance for members and includes suggestions for handling open houses, addressing customer and client concerns.
